The Fig & Dane Process: From First Call to Sold

1. Initial Consultation (Complimentary)

When you reach out, we schedule a complimentary in-home consultation at your convenience. During this visit, we walk through your property room by room, discuss your timeline, selling goals, and budget parameters. We take detailed photographs and measurements, assess your home's current condition, and identify opportunities for improvement.

2. Strategic Analysis & Planning

Following the consultation, our team analyzes your home's market position, target buyer demographic, and competitive landscape. We identify which updates will deliver the highest return on investment—whether that's a kitchen refresh, strategic paint colors, landscaping improvements, or furniture placement. We determine what existing pieces can be incorporated and what supplemental items are needed.

3. Customized Proposal & Visual Presentation

Within 3-5 business days, you'll receive a comprehensive proposal that includes:

  • Detailed scope of work with specific recommendations

  • Multiple budget tier options (good/better/best)

  • Itemized pricing for refresh work, staging, and supplemental services

  • Visual presentations including mood boards, color palettes, and design concepts

  • AI-generated renderings or before/after mockups showing the transformation

  • Project timeline from start to market-ready

  • Clear breakdown of what's included in each service package

4. Proposal Review & Refinement

We schedule a follow-up meeting (virtual or in-person) to walk through the proposal together, answer questions, and make any adjustments based on your feedback. This collaborative approach ensures the plan aligns perfectly with your vision, needs, and budget. We refine the scope as needed until you're completely confident in moving forward.

5. Agreement & Scheduling

Once you approve the proposal, we finalize the contract and lock in your project timeline. We coordinate all necessary vendors, order materials, and schedule our team. You'll receive a detailed project calendar with key milestones and what to expect at each phase.

6. Home Refresh Execution

Our team begins the refresh work—painting, hardware updates, minor renovations, landscaping, and any repairs identified in the proposal. We work efficiently to minimize disruption and keep you informed of progress. Most refresh projects are completed within 1-3 weeks depending on scope.

7. Staging Implementation

Once refresh work is complete, we bring in our staging team. We incorporate your existing furniture wherever possible (reducing costs), supplement with our curated inventory, and style each room to create that aspirational lifestyle appeal. Every detail is considered—from furniture placement to artwork, accessories, lighting, and finishing touches.

8. Professional Photography & Marketing Assets

With staging complete, we coordinate professional photography (if included in your package). We also create your custom home showcase website if requested, ensuring all marketing materials are ready for launch.

9. Market Support

Your home is now market-ready! We remain available throughout the listing period for any adjustments, maintenance visits, or questions. If showings reveal any feedback about the staging, we can make tweaks as needed.

10. Staging Removal & Move-Out Services

Once your home is under contract, we schedule staging removal at a time that works with your moving timeline. If you've opted for move-out preparation services, we handle the final deep clean, patch nail holes, touch up paint, and ensure the home is pristine for the closing walkthrough.

11. Final Walkthrough

We do a final quality check to ensure everything is settlement-ready, and you can focus entirely on your next chapter knowing your home is in perfect condition for its new owners.

  • Home refresh phase: 1-3 weeks (depending on scope)

Client Investment: Packages are customized based on your home's size, condition, and needs. We'll work with you on the budget and work on a payment schedule where we get paid at settlement to avoid upfront costs.
